ISLAMABAD, June 18 The Pakistan Squash Federation will hold an International Circuit-II tournament in collaboration with the Civil Aviation Authority, commencing at the Mushaf Squash Complex on Saturday.

An official of the PSF told Dawn on Friday that top-ranking national players including Aamir Atlas Khan, Farhan Mahboob, Yasir Butt and Waqar Mahboob would appear in the four-day Professional Squash Association (PSA) points-based tournament.

“Emerging squash player Waqas Mahboob has been given a wild-card entry into the circuit,” he added.

The official said that around 31 young players would test their mettle in the pre-qualifying round of the PSF-CAA International Circuit-II championship.

He added that the squash federation is utilising all its resources to get more PSA one-star tournaments, thus benefiting the local players, despite uncertain security situation in the country.
