KARACHI, May 10 Mohammad Sajjad, the reigning national champion, continued his winning spree when he blanked Ammar Taqi of Kuwait 4-0 in the 26th Asian Snooker Championship in Chanthaburi, Thailand, on Monday.

The country's top cueist who piled up a splendid century break the other day, showed no mercy to Kuwaiti opponent while registering 69-8, 88-21, 73-22, 123-0 third win in a row. He also notched up two elegant breaks of 52 and 93 in the second and fourth frames.

He is drawn to meet Nhat Thanh Nguyen of Vietnam in his last group G match on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, his compatriot Asjad Iqbal completed his group E engagements on a winning note outplaying Korea's Chul Ho Hwang 4-0. The scores were 56-24, 61-6, 62-40, 63-39.

He has three wins and a defeat under his belt and his advancement to the knockout stage depends on results of the concluding day of league on Tuesday.
