Rehman basketball from today

KARACHI, March 24 Eight outfits including two departments will feature in Abdul Rehman Khan known as Ustad Rehman memorial basketball tournament which begins at Nishtar Park court from Thursday.

The teams have been equally drawn into two groups and top from each will qualify for semi-finals.

Ustad Rehman, who has served as president of Karachi Divisional Amateur Basketball Association (KCDABA) and a national selector, died about a decade back.

The tournament is being organised by Nishtar Club.

Groups
'A' Habib Bank, Arambagh Club, Nishtar Club and Gulshan Club.
'B' KESC, Bounce Club, Neighbourhood Club and Malir.

Thursday's fixtures
Nishtar Club v Gulshan Club at 7.30pm; Bounce Club v Neighbourhood Club at 8.30pm
