KARACHI, Aug 7 Rauf XI and Al Sagheer Hockey Club reached the final of the fourth Atlas Honda Ayub and Matloob Baig Memorial Hockey Tournament at the Hockey Club of Pakistan on Friday.

The exciting semi-final between Rauf XI and Beecham Hockey Club had to be decided on penalty strokes when the scoreline remained 0-0 in duration time.

The match was won by Rauf XI 4-3 with Rauf Madassar, Asadullah, Ali Mehdi and Zulfiqar Hussain converting four penalties.

For Beecham, Mohammad Rizwan, Asif Khan and Hanif Ahmed managed to find the net.

In the other semi-final, Al Sagheer outclassed Al Saadat Hockey Club 2-0.

Centre-forward Ali Hussain (11th min) and fullback Shahzad Hanif (24th min) scored for the winners.

The final between Rauf XI and Al Sagheer Hockey Club will be played at 4.00pm at the same venue on Saturday.
