NBP honour badminton team

KARACHI, April 11 The badminton team of National Bank on Saturday received cash awards and a pat on their back by bank's top hierarchy for winning laurels to the institution in the 52nd National badminton championships held here two months back.

The bankers dominated the country's premier event of the game pocketing five titles — men's and women's team events, women's singles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.

The president of the NBP, Syed Ali Raza, awarded cash prizes of Rs6,35,000 to the successful players at a ceremony held at the NBP head office.
