NBP Gold Cup Hockey from 22nd

KARACHI, Dec 12 National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) Gold Cup Hockey Tournament will commence from Dec 22 at the National Hockey Stadium in Lahore.

Besides the four provinces, the tournament will also feature PIA, NBP, HBL, Wapda, Army, Pakistan Steel, Navy, PAF and PQA.

Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) on Friday announced officials for the tournament. President Lahore District Hockey Association Khalid Rasool will be the tournament director, while Ansar Jora and Anjum Saeed will act as tournament officers.

Faiz Mohammad Faizi will be the umpires' manager, while 10 other umpires will supervise the matches. They are Zulfiqar Haider Shah (Police), Anwar Hussain (Army), Mohammad Asif (Kohat), Haider Rasool (ABL), Ihsan-ul-Haq Badar (RWP), Mohsin Ali Khan (HBL), Rana Mohammad Liaqat (AG Punjab), Mohammad Parvez (Faisalabad), Kamran Hussain (Army) and Musaddiq (RYK).

The draws are expected to be announced on Dec 20.—Agencies
