KARACHI, Aug 18 At least three seeded players, including a girl, met their fate as top seeds in all categories moved into semi-finals of the 3rd DG Rangers Sindh National Squash Championship at the Jahangir Khan Squash Complex on Tuesday.

The players who suffered astonishing defeats were second seed Farhan Zaman of the Pakistan Navy in the boys' under-19 category; second seed Arbab Aizaz of the PAF in the boys' under-13 and second Sindh's Faiza Zafar in the girls' under-15.

Shaikh Saqib toppled Farhan 14-12, 8-11, 11-9, 11-9 in 52 minutes. Zeeshan Khan (PAF) took just 15 minutes to prevail over Arbab 11-2, 11-4, 11-8 while Punjab's Monisa got the better of Faiza 14-12, 11-13, 11-7, 13-11 in almost half-an-hour battle.

The semi-finals in all the categories will be played on Wednesday.
