MADRID, Aug 5 Real Madrid star Kaka could be sidelined for two months if it is decided that surgery is needed to repair an injured meniscus in his left knee, the Spanish giants announced on their website Thursday.

Real said on their website www.realmadrid.com the Brazilian midfielder left their US training camp in Los Angeles to undergo examinations with a view to an eventual operation to be carried out in Belgium. Real said, however, the groin strain from which Kaka has been suffering had shown “clear signs of improvement”.—AFP
