Hockey camp for Asiad from 25th

LAHORE The hockey training camp of national probables preparing for participation in the 16th Asian Games will be held at Jinnah Sports Complex, Islamabad from Oct 25. The games are scheduled to be held in Guangzhou, China from Nov 12 to 27.

Goalkeeper Salman Akbar, who is not part of the national team, which seized a poor sixth position in the ongoing Commonwealth Games in India has been recalled back in the list of 22 probables. As the PHF has dearth of goalkeepers, only one Imran Shah is currently with the national team in India.

The Asian Games is the main target of the PHF and lot depends on the result of this premier event of the continent.
