Pakistan's Farhan Zaman bowed out of the World Junior Championship by losing against Ali Farag 11-2, 11-4, 11-8.—File photo
KARACHI Pakistan's Farhan Zaman, who was the only non-Egyptian in the semi-finals, bowed out of the men's World Junior squash championship by losing against Ali Farag at the El Condado Shopping Mall in Quito, Ecuador.

Farag had an easy ride against Farhan, who he thrashed 11-2, 11-4, 11-8 in just 23 minutes.

The other semi-final saw Egypt's Amr Khaled Khalifa overcoming his compatriot Marwan El Shorbagy 11-6, 11-1, 11-13, 9-11, 11-4 in marathon 74 minutes.
