LAHORE, May 11 NBP Gold Cup Hockey Tournament will be played at the Faisalabad Hockey Stadium Faisalabad from June 10-20.

The tournament which is being organised by the Punjab Hockey Association is an important tournament of PHF calendar in which participation of teams from various departments will create a healthy competition, helping out the selectors to pick up talented boys for the national pool.

Meanwhile, a PHF coaching course started on Tuesday.

Lt. Col Nadeem Ahmed Bhatti is the course conductor, while Olympian Danish Kaleem and Olympian Anjum Saeed are the coordinators. This course is being organised in conjunction with 29th National Junior Hockey Championship.

Participating coaches Muhammad Sarwar (ABL), Muhammad Shafqat, Irfan Mehmood, Ishtiaq Ahmad, Zahid Sharif, Saleem Sherwani (PIA), Mujahid Afzal (ABL), Naeem Ahmad (Customs), Zahid Afzal (ABL), Muhammad Fayyaz (Police), Muhammad Arshad, Khawar Javed (NBP), Rana Zaheer Ahmad, Ishtiaq Mubeen (SSGC), Shahzad Chishti (Punjab), Ejaz Rasool (Sindh), Tipu (Sialkot), Anwaar (PAF), Razia Malik, Uzma Fayyaz and Leena Afroze (women's wing).—
