Badminton squad

LAHORE, April 10 A six-member Pakistan badminton squad left for India via the Wagah Border after facing a problem in their visas, issued by the Indian High Commission in Islamabad.

The squad left for New Delhi to take part in the Asian Badminton Championship to be held from April 12 to 18.

The problem was pointed out by the immigration officials at the Wagah Border when they noted the visas were not bearing signatures of its issuing authorities.

A PBF official Naqi Mohsin immediately made the contact with the Indian High Commission in Islamabad, which faxed a letter, admitting its mistake and asking the authorities concerned to allow the squad entered India.
