PTCL has announced the signing of a MoU with Al Ghurair Giga Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd

Islamabad, June 5, 2013 - Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al Ghurair Giga Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd, the developers of World Trade Center and other state of the art Commercial and Residential Developments in DHA Phase-II, Islamabad.

Through this agreement, PTCL will develop ICT infrastructure and provide full range of telecommunications services for Al Ghurair Giga’s current and future projects.

The agreement shall enable customers of Al Ghurair Giga Pakistan to experience superior telecom services of PTCL including voice telephony, broadband internet and SmartTV as well as Pakistan’s fastest and most reliable EVO wireless broadband internet services.

Muhammad Nasrullah, PTCL Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) Business Zones while speaking at the signing ceremony said, “We are pleased to extend cooperation to Al Ghurair Giga for development of telecom infrastructure. As the single largest national carrier, PTCL is aligning all possible measures to bring world-class telecom services in the country”.

“This initiative is one of many through which PTCL continues to lead the innovation drive for its customers and provide progressive and robust ICT solutions”, he added further.

Haji Muhammed Rafiq Giga Vice Chairman Al Ghurair Giga Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd said at the occasion, “This agreement shall enable us to move forward collectively and deliver better services to our customers. We realize the importance of an efficient ICT sector, and for this reason, we have partnered with PTCL, the largest ICT services provider, to develop an integrated network of telecom services which caters to the needs of today’s fast paced environment”.
