Man shot dead in Quetta

QUETTA, July 8: A man belonging to the Hindu community was murdered in Irrigation Colony on Sariab road on Monday, police said.

Kishwar Kumar was killed by unidentified gunmen.

The body was taken to a hospital where doctors said he received multiple bullet wounds.

Police registered a case against unidentified attackers.

ROBBERY: Six suspected robbers, one of them wearing the uniform of a law-enforcement agency, stormed into a house in Bhosa Mandi area of Quetta on Monday and took away ornaments weighing 120 grams of gold, Rs50,000 cash and a licensed 9mm pistol.

According to police, during the robbery the family of Hameed Kakar was taken hostage by the intruders on gunpoint.

A case was registered against unidentified robbers.
