House attacked in Kohat

KOHAT, April 26: A house was damaged and two cattle injured in a hand grenade attack in Dhodha area late on Thursday night.

The owner of the house, Fareeda Begum, told the Bilitang police that she was asleep with her children when she heard noise of firing outside her house around 12.30am. The woman added she did not open the door.

Later, she said two persons, Azeem alias Bagay and Munir, barged into her house and exploded a hand grenade, injuring two cattle and destroying some household items.

The police started investigation into the attack on the basis of the report. —Correspondent
