‘War on terror’ PML-N vows to enforce resolutions

LAHORE, April 23: The PML-N will implement parliamentary resolutions regarding so-called ‘war on terror’ if it comes into power after upcoming election.

The party’s spokesperson, Pervaiz Rashid, said this while talking to a group of reporters here on Tuesday.

PML-N president Nawaz Sharif has already hinted at holding talks with Taliban in a TV interview if his party gets an opportunity to run the country.

To a query regarding his party’s future policy on dealing with militants and extremists as it faced allegations of having links with some banned outfits, Rashid said those who did not believe in the Constitution would be taken to task under the law of land.

Denying the PML-N had contacts with any banned outfits, he said those leveling such allegations should come forward with evidence.

He told a questioner that besides building new schools with modern facilities uniform syllabus should also be introduced to end different educational standards in state-run and private institutions.—Staff Reporter
