Faisalabad Wolves to miss CLT20 after India refuses visa: report

NEW DELHI: There will be no Pakistani participation in the Champions League T20 after the Indian government refused to grant visas to the Faisalabad Wolves citing 'safety and security' concerns, the Times of India reported.

"As a matter of abundance precaution and caution in terms of safety and security, the government did not give green signal for the cricket team's visit," Times of India reported government sources as saying.

The Faisalabad team, led by Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq, was invited to play in the qualifying rounds of the Champions League T20 in India, starting on September 17.
