Experience: From Paris to Karchi
TEN years ago I was born in Paris where I attended a French school till the age of six. Then my parents decided that I should attend an English medium school so I joined the British School of Paris.
My first day of school was very interesting and confusing too because I didn’t know English. But thanks to a teacher named Miss Goodwin I quickly picked up the language. Once I picked up English, I had no problems with it or my studies.
There used to be a spelling test every Friday and the teacher would write the names of the best performers on the board and my name was always written. In class two there was both Math test and spelling test every Friday.
While living in Paris, I had a lot of fun, I got to see many sights of the French capital and visit the Eiffel Tower and Disneyland there. The Eiffel Tower was considered a common monument but now that I don’t live there, I realise what a special landmark and wonder it is. Disneyland is such a majestic place that you would want to spend your whole life there, enjoying its attractions.
Once we even travelled by road to Holland which was a really fun trip. After that I went to Makkah and Madina for Umrah. Then my Dad got transferred from Paris to Karachi.
We first landed in Islamabad and then went to Lahore to meet my cousins and family, and finally came to Karachi. Now I study in a private school in Karachi but miss my days in Paris a lot and wish to go back there one day, especially to visit Disneyland and the Eiffel tower.
