Distinguished alumni of FA/FSc exams

SAHIWAL, Sept 22: Girls bagged top three positions in the intermediate examination results announced by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Sahiwal on Sunday.

BISE, Sahiwal chairman Mehr Bashir Ahmad announced the results.

Romaisa Tariq of the District Public Higher Secondary School for Girls, Okara, Adeen Zahoor of the Divisional Public Higher Secondary School, Sahiwal and Mariam Mushtaq of the Punjab College for Women, Okara bagged first, second and third positions by scoring 1,034, 1,031 and 1,025 marks, respectively.

In the pre-medical group among boys Hamza Tahir of the Suffa Educational Complex topped with 1,020 marks. Muhammad Faizan of the Divisional Public School and Inter College, Sahiwal remained the highest scorer (1,020) in the pre-engineering group.

Among girls the top pre-engineering position went to Urwah Kiran of the Unique Public Higher Secondary School, scoring 1,002.

In the humanities group among boys Hammad Atiq, a private candidate from Okara, scored 954 and topped the examination. Among girls Shanza Iqbal of PICS Girls College, Arifwala topped with 966 marks.

Syed Muhammad of the Punjab College for Boys, Sahiwal (score 953) was the top scorer in the commerce group.

In the general science group among boys Hammad Aslam of the Punjab College, Okara secured 944 marks to bag top position in the group. Wareesha Munawar of the GDCW, Arifwala won honours with a score of 995.

BISE Sahiwal Controller of Examination Shahid Pervaiz Qureshi said the prize-distribution ceremony would be held at the Government Postgraduate College on Monday.

BAHAWALPUR: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Bahawalpur on Sunday announced the result of intermediate annual examination for 2013.

Girls clinched the top three positions and the pass percentage was 51.57pc. A total of 38,001 candidates appeared in the examination; of them, 19,603 were declared successful.

Maheen Zulfiqar of the Punjab College, Rahim Yar Khan topped with 1,027 marks out of 1,100. Maryam Munir of the Modern Times College, Bahawalnagar and Rimsha Bokhari of Chishtian College secured second and third positions by obtaining 1,022 and 1,021 marks, respectively.

MULTAN: Private colleges clinched top three positions in the FA/FSc results announced by the BISE, Multan.

Farheen Fatima of the City College of Science and Commerce bagged first position by securing 1,040 marks. Nafees Razzaq of the Muslim Public Higher Secondary School, People’s Colony scored 1,039 and was second and Abu Bakar Naeem of Kips College for Boys, Multan secured 1,038 marks for a third position.

In the pre-medical group Farheen Fatima scored top position. In the pre-engineering group Abu Bakar Naeem got first position. Aqdas Imam Shah of the Punjab College for Women, Wapda Town clinched first position by securing 969 marks in the humanities group.

In the general science group, first position was secured by Ayesha Sahar of the Divisional Public School and College for Girls, Mian Channu by obtaining 1,009 marks.

GUJRANWALA: Lubna Mukhtar of the Superior Women College, Sialkot scored 1,031 and topped the intermediate examination of Gujranwala board.

Hafiza Aneeqa Mehmood of the Punjab College Civil Lines, Gujranwala got second position, scoring 1,021 and Hassan bin Aziz of the Quaid-i-Azam Divisional Public School for Boys, Gujranwala remained third with 1,020 marks.

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Javeria Manzoor of the Punjab Girls College, Kot Addu, secured first position by obtaining 1,027 marks. Zuhra Hassan of the Zakariya Higher Secondary School scored 1,026 and got second position and Muhammad Basit of the Rashid Minhas Higher Secondary School, Alipur, Muzaffargarh got third position by getting 1,023 marks.
