Four held, weapons seized in Quetta raids

QUETTA, Oct 6: Four suspects were taken into custody by joint teams of police and the Frontier Corps during raids carried out in various areas of Quetta on Sunday.

According to police, the teams conducted raids in Sariab Road, Arbab Karam Khan Road and other areas and also seized weapons from the suspects.

The suspects were involved in heinous crimes and were wanted by police, officials said.

They were taken to a police station and an investigation team was interrogating them after registering cases against them.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for Domki House, the residence of PML-N MNA Mir Dostain Khan and MPA Sardar Sarfaraz Khan, the chief of the tribe, said security personnel had raided the place late on Saturday night and arrested four guards, although they had licensed weapons and were not involved in any crime.
