Double-storey barracks at Khairpur jail

KHAIRPUR, Nov 24: Sindh minister for prisons Manzoor Wassan inaugurated the new double-storey barracks in Khairpur jail on Sunday and joked that he would prove to be a good host to former president Pervez Musharraf if he got imprisoned there.

Speaking after the ceremony, he said that the Pakistan Peoples Party had always welcomed other political parties but they should also do their part in eliminating crime.

He said that he had stayed at the Khairpur Central Jail as a political prisoner and was now visiting it there as a minister.
