The residents of Dubai celebrated in front of the Burj Khalifa on Wednesday December 27th, after Dubai won the right to host the 2020 World Expo trade convention. Dubai overcame competition from the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo, Yekaterinburg in Russia and Izmir in Turkey in a vote by members of the world fair body. The World Expo has been known in the past to significantly boost tourism and business for the the host city during the convention.
