Two arrested for threatening polio teams

QUETTA: Two people were taken into custody by the Levies personnel in Turbat district on Wednesday for allegedly threatening to attack a team of polio vaccinators.

Turbat Assistant Commissioner Abdullah Khosa along with Levies personnel raided a house after receiving information about the presence of the duo who had allegedly threatened to attack polio teams.

The Levies personnel arrested the suspects and seized arms.

The two were identified as Shahab and Fareed.

Further investigation was under way.
