RAWALPINDI: Bankers’ union lauds services

RAWALPINDI, Dec 15: Labour Minister Omar Asghar Khan has rendered unforgettable services for protecting the rights of the banking sector employees, the secretary coordination of Action Committee of All Banks Trade Unions and Officers Association, Zahid Abid Rizvi, said.

In a joint statement, Mr Rizvi and other leaders expressed their sense of sorrow over the resignation of Mr Khan. He said the working class had been deprived of a great sympathizer with the exit of Mr Khan from the cabinet.

The labour leaders said Mr Khan had shown personal interest in resolving the long-standing problems of the workers of the UBL, NBP and the Industrial Development Bank of Pakistan.
