KARACHI: Trials to select two Sindh teams for the upcoming 28th National Women’s Hockey Championship will be held at Hockey Club of Pakistan Stadium on Wednesday at 3:00pm.

The country’s premier women’s hockey championship will be staged at HCP Stadium from March 26 to April 4.

The Sindh Women’s Hockey Association (SWHA) has constituted a selection committee which comprised Abuzar, Shaista Javed (Karachi), Arif Mehmood (Sukkur), Misbah Mehmood (Hyderabad), Anwar Ahmed (Mirpurkhas) and Ramzan Jamali (Larkana). Syeda Erum Bukhari is ex-officio member of the selection committee.

Meanwhile, players who are interested to appear in the trials have been asked to report at the venue at 2.30pm.—Sports Correspondent
