KHUZDAR: A man was killed and his son seriously injured in an armed attack in Khuzdar, on Tuesday.

Police said that unidentified men barged into a building in Seven-Marla Housing Scheme and opened indiscriminate fire resulting in the death of Haji Abdul Rauf and inflicting serious wounds to his son Abdul Ghaffar.

Police shifted the dead and the injured to district hospital.

“It seems to be a case of targeted killing but we are investigating the incident to ascertain the real cause behind the killing,” a senior police officer said.
