KARACHI: Four women umpires are supervising the matches of the 28th National Women’s Hockey Championship alongside panel of men at the Hockey Club of Pakistan Stadium.

According to tournament director and former player Rahat Khan, the women umpires include Shazia Yousuf and Asia Khan (Karachi) and Benish Hayat and Rabia Qadir (Lahore).

Rahat said one more umpire, Razia Rizvi, was also supposed to come from Rawalpindi but couldn’t make it.
