Army trainer aircraft crashes near Gujranwala killing pilots

GUJRANWALA: A Mushak trainer aircraft belonging to the Army Aviation crashed near Gujranwala killing both of its occupants on Tuesday.

The two-seater plane crashed due to a technical fault developed during a training mission, according to an Inter Services Public relations (ISPR) statement which added that both the pilots onboard the plane had died in the incident.

The statement further said that an inquiry had been ordered into the incident.

The Mushak aircraft is a small aircraft which is not equipped with ejector seats.
