Sindh Assembly approves resolution against federal govt

KARACHI: The Sindh Assembly on Tuesday protested against the unannounced load shedding in the province and unanimously approved a resolution against the federal government over the power theft issue, DawnNews reported.

Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah expressed annoyance over the suspension of electricity supply in various areas of the province.

He said the province was ready to clear its dues, but warned that not a single penny would be paid until a documented audit was not conducted.

He furthermore said Sindh was being subjected to excesses and added that more faith was being reposed in metre readers as compared to the provincial government.
