KHUZDAR: A hand-grenade was thrown into the house of a vet in Lizzo area here on Wednesday night, causing minor damage to the building. However, no one was injured, police said.

Unidentified men riding a bike lobbed the grenade into the house of vet Abdul Quddoos Kurd and escaped. Windowpanes were smashed because of the impact of the blast. Soon after the incident police cordoned off the area and combed it for attackers. However, no arrest could be made. Further probe was under way.
