Blast in Bannu injures seven

PESHAWAR: At least seven people were injured on Friday when a remote controlled bomb exploded near a police vehicle on Railway Road in Bannu district.

Police officials said that the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was planted in a motorcycle, targeting the police vehicle.

Three policemen were also among the wounded.

Rescue teams immediately reached the site of the incident and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital.
