Aitchison College abolishes kinship

LAHORE: The Aitchison College Board of Governors has abolished the provision of kinship for admission to the college in a bid to ensure admissions on merit.

The decision was taken in the Aitchison College BoG meeting chaired by Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar at Governor House on Wednesday.

The meeting has unanimously decided that the college will not increase its fee so that the students belonging to middle class families could also get quality education at the institute. The meeting also reviewed progress of different development projects.

The meeting was attended by college principal Shamim Ahmad Khan, GOC Lahore, Dr Safdar Abbasi, Dr Ayesha Ghous, Raza Quli Khan and Dr Umer Saif.
