Steps being taken to restore peace in Balochistan: CM
QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochis-tan Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has said that the government is using all available resources for the improvement of law and order in the province.
He stated this while talking to a delegation of Solidarity Council that called on him here on Tuesday.
The chief minister stressed that all schools of thought should play their role to achieve the task of peace and prosperity in Balochistan.
Government adopted a policy of uniform focus on development of all parts of the province
The head of the delegation, Abdul Qayyum Chengazi, informed the chief minister about the problems of the Hazara community.
The CM said that the government had adopted a policy of uniform focus on the development of all parts of the province, including the provincial capital.
He said that the government was making efforts to improve the facilities at Benazir Bhutto Hospital and to meet the shortage of teachers in Marriabad and Hazara Town schools.
He ensured the delegation that the government was taking concrete steps for protection of the Hazara community and added that the federal government had also planned to initiate flights from Quetta to Zaidan on concessionary rates and stressed that the pilgrims should benefit from it.

He also ensured the delegation that no hurdles would be tolerated in the disbursement of the aid amount among the dependants of those who lost their lives in different incidents.
