Two convicted UK nationals deported

RAWALPINDI: Two British nationals, who were arrested for drug-related crimes, were deported back to their home country from Islamabad on Sunday, airport sources told Dawn.

The sources said that the two British nationals, identified as Stephen and Samuel Stentella, were arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) in a drug-trafficking case.

On Sunday, they were brought to Benazir Bhutto International Airport from Central Jail Adiala and handed over to immigration authorities.

The two convicts, who had completed their sentences in a drug-trafficking case, were deported from the airport shortly after being handed over to the immigration staff and undergoing the necessary formalities.

The two men were deported on a Pakistan International Airlines flight PK-785 to London.

When the ANF authorities were contacted for details of the arrests of the two foreigners, their spokesman was unavailable for comment.
