Road accident claims four lives in Attock

ATTOCK: At least four people were killed and 14 others were injured on Monday when a van and a car collided near Bisaal Chowk in the Attock district of Punjab province, DawnNews reported.

Police personnel and rescue teams reached the accident site and shifted the victims to a nearby hospital.

Accidents are common in the town on account of reckless driving and over-speeding.

Pakistan has one of the world's worst records for fatal traffic accidents, blamed on poor roads, badly maintained vehicles and reckless driving.
