Seven arrested in targeted operation

A contingent of Rangers conducted a targeted operation in Karachi’s Jamali Goth area and arrested seven people.

The Rangers had launched the targeted action upon receiving a tip-off.

A huge cache of arms and ammunition, including mortars, were recovered from the possession of those arrested.

Subsequently, the seven were shifted to an undisclosed location and an investigation went underway.

Karachi, the largest metropolitan city of Pakistan, is riddled with targeted killings, gang wars, kidnappings for ransom, extortion and terrorism.
