JuD urges Muslim nations to help Gaza

LAHORE: The Jamaatud Dawa (JuD) has announced launching a countrywide movement to press the international community for sending forces from Muslim countries to Palestine to save the people of Gaza.

JuD chief Hafiz Saeed said his party would hold protests and rallies across the country this month to press the Muslim community to “break its silence” and unite on the Palestine issue.

“If the UN forces can go to other countries, why can’t those from Muslim countries go to Palestine to save their brothers?” he questioned during a Friday sermon here.

He also termed the UN representative’s speech on Gaza issue a drama aimed at fooling the Muslims.

He said the US and all its allies were patronising Israel and had given it full freedom to kill Muslims. He said the Muslim world should also provide financial assistance to Palestine.
