CHITRAL: Two teenage boys committed suicide in separate incidents here the other day. Police told Dawn that Saeed Nawab of Arsoon village shot himself dead with a pistol. The motive behind the incident could not be ascertained.

In the second incident, Ziauddin, a fifth grader, committed suicide by shooting himself with an automatic gun. The boy was reportedly upset after his parents didn’t concede his request to discontinue education.

The police registered case in both the incidents and began investigation.
