Relief goods sent to IDPs

TAXILA: The Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) on Tuesday dispatched 39 tons of relief goods worth Rs5.8 million to Bannu for the displaced people of North Waziristan.

According to a POF spokesman, the relief goods included 2,850 packets of edible items.

He said on the directives of POF Chief Lt-Gen Mohammad Ahsan Mahmood, camps had been set up in various parts of Wah Cantt for the collection of relief items for the IDPs.
