Success at school simplified

THIS is regarding the cover story “Success at school simplified” by Wajeeha Rehan (YW, August 23, 2014). It was a helpful article for students, I would also like to advice them that they must daily revise their work that they have done in school, be it written or oral. Read the lesson that the teacher has explained and practice all the concepts, this way they won’t be overburdened with the syllabus during the exam.

Happiness is in sharing

THIS is with reference to the story “Happiness is in sharing” by Ahmed Abdullah (YW, July 19, 2014). It was really was a good story which I enjoyed reading.

Real happiness comes from helping, caring and sharing. It is like a perfume which smells nice and which is not so useful if it is just kept in a bottle. It is only when we share it with others that it brightens the world with its attractive smell. Likewise, we need to share our blessings with others to maintain a smile on their face.

Shakarjan Hasil, Turbat

Inventions at play

THIS is regarding the website review “Inventions at play” by Asif Ali (YW, August 30, 2014). The website was very informative. I love science so it was interesting for me and I played ‘Cloud dreamer’ and ‘Puzzle block’. The former was quite easy while the later was very difficult for me.

I would like to request the writer to review more science and technology websites in the future for students who are interested in this subject.

The ungrateful crow

THIS is with reference to the story “The ungrateful crow” by Hamza Hussain (YW, August 16, 2014).

The writer, through his story, teaches us the lesson that we should be thankful to Allah for the way he has created us. It was a great story with a great moral.

I really liked reading it and request the YW team to publish more stories with moral in them.

Afaf Nawaz, Faisalabad
