Thank you dear teacher...

THIS is with reference to the cover story “Thank you dear teacher” by Wajeeha Rehan (YW, October 4, 2014). I was delighted to see a tribute to teachers on the occasion of Teachers’ Day and it was a great article telling us about the importance of teachers in our lives.

I didn’t even know there is a day like Teachers’ Day! Thank you Young World for informing us about it and I will definitely wish my teachers when I get back to school after the Eid holidays.

I REALLY loved the article “Thank you dear teacher” by Wajeeha Rehan. We take our teachers for granted and never understand how tiring it is for teachers to teach children. Because school is the foundation of making a person good and bad, if we are not cared for, loved and taught in the most affectionate way, than we are most likely to develop negative traits in our personalities. So it is the teachers who make us confident and learned persons. I would like to thank my teachers who have made me a good person.

The weekly weird

THIS is with reference to “The weekly weird” section in the Young World. It is the most wonderful section in the magazine and I love it a lot. I anxiously wait for Saturdays to have my favourite magazine in my hands and the first thing I do is to flip the pages and read it. I request you to never stop this section.

Young news

THIS is regarding the “Young news” section (YW, September 27, 2014). The centre page of the magazine was fabulous. Everything was on just one page, such as “The weekly weird”, “Historic news” and “Did you know”. I liked this page more than I liked anything else in the magazine. I would like to request the YW team to always publish news on this page.

I REALLY liked the “Young news” page in the magazine. It was full of interesting news items and facts, and I wish that it appears this way in the magazine every week.

The missing goats

THIS is regarding the story “The missing goats” by Shafaq Rizvi (YW, October 4, 2014). The story was interesting and timely. The story gave us the lesson that we should not be jealous of other people’s prosperity, instead we should work hard and achieve things in a positive way rather than opt for something wrong.
