HYDERABAD: A shopkeeper and his assistant were killed while resisting a robbery attempt in Latifabad Unit-2 late Friday night.

Police said three armed robbers riding a motorcycle broke into Siraj General Store and fired at Siraj and Jamal Khan when they offered resistance.

The robbers fled without taking money or any other thing, he said. The injured were taken to a hospital where they were declared dead.
