Good deeds are always rewarded

THIS is regarding the story “Good deeds are always rewarded” by Shahzeb Khan (YW, September 20, 2014). I really liked the story because it highlighted the importance of charity. Whatever we donate in order to help the needy, Allah rewards us for our act of kindness. Therefore, we should never hesitate to help those in need.

THIS week’s website review “Professor Garfeild” was very useful. I found this website amazing. The games and activities in the website were very interesting. I thank the Young World team for printing such valuable stuff.

Who really discovered America

I WOULD like to share my views regarding the article, “Who really discovered America?” by Ambreen Arshad (YW, October 11, 2014). I found the article very interesting as I believed that it was Christopher Columbus who discovered America while the fact that there were many others who had been to the American continents before him came as a total surprise to me.

I would like to thank the magazine and the writer for coming up with a topic that we should all know about but which many of us don’t.

And the article was a very thoroughly researched one where the writer had presented the facts in a very clear manner that it was easy to understand.

And reading about what a great mind the Muslim scientist Abu Raihan al-Biruni was made me so impressed with him. It also made me realise that we know so little about the contributions of the Muslims to science and development. I would like to request you to please print articles about Muslim scientists as we know more about people from the west than our own part of the world.

Keep up the good work.

What goes around comes around

THIS is with reference to the story “What goes around comes around” by Qurat-ul-ain Aamir (YW, Oct 11, 2014). I really loved the story! It was not only interesting to read, but it also taught us a great lesson as well. It’s a fact that whatever we do in our lives comes back to us. If we do good deeds, we get the rewards. If we are bad, we are punished by God.

(II)

THIS is with reference to Qurat-ul-ain Aamir’s story “What goes around comes around”. It was indeed a though-provoking story which conveyed an important message. If we act upon the advice given by the writer, we can live a happy and blissful life because a good deed always pays off and no bad deed ever goes unpunished!
