Guinness approves Bodla’s world record

ISLAMABAD: The Guinness World Records has approved the world record of Pakistani taekwondo black belt Ahmed Amin Bodla who struck as many as 355 kicks in one minute earlier this year.

According to Bodla, he had broken the record of American Master Raul Meza with 355 kicks in one minute.

“It is a great honour to be a part of the elite class of martial artists,” the 20-year-old Bodla, who hails from Lahore, said.

He added that it was not easy to outperform world-class athletes on a regular basis.

“I dedicate this title to the entire nation.”

Meza had set a record of 335 kicks in one minute some three years ago.
