CM okays 50 acres for varsity in Hyderabad

KARACHI: The Sindh government on Friday announced 50 acres for Altaf Hussain University to be built by the Bahria Town in Hyderabad, said a statement.

“Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah called on Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad at Governor House,” said the Governor House statement. “The two dignitaries discussed education and several other issues. The Sindh chief minister said the Sindh government has decided to allot 50 acres for Altaf Hussain University in Hyderabad and formalities in this regard would be met soon.”

The Sindh governor, the statement added, appreciated the efforts of former president Asif Ali Zardari in this connection and also thanked Bahria Town founder Malik Riaz.
