Course for karate coaches from Friday

LAHORE: The Pakistan Karate Federation (PKF) is organising a National Coaches Course here from Jan 16 to 18.

This course is being conducted as per the latest rules and regulations introduced by the World Karate Federation (WKF) so that the Pakistan coaches get updated on the new rules of the world governing body.

Practical sessions and lectures will be conducted during which all rules regarding coaches will be described and explained to the participants.

An exam will be conducted at the end of the course and those coaches who qualify will be accredited as qualified coach of the PKF.

It is important to mention here that only qualified coaches will be allowed to act in coaching capacity at any national or provincial karate event.

Coaches from all the affiliated units of the PKF -- Wapda, Army, Police, Railways, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Fata and the Women Karate Association -- will feature in the course.
