FBI seeks access to cybercrime suspects
RAWALPINDI: The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has asked the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for access to the two Pakistanis arrested in Karachi on Saturday for their suspected involvement in cybercrimes.
The two men were wanted by Interpol and FBI for allegedly defrauding companies and individuals of over $50 million.

A senior official of the FIA’s Cybercrime Wing told Dawn that Nooruddin Aziz was on the FBI’s list of 10 most wanted cyber criminals. The American agency had announced a $50,000 reward on his arrest.
He identified the other suspect in custody as Farhan Arshad.
The official said the FBI had contacted the FIA investigators and sought access to the two suspects.
