HARIPUR: Units to check corruption planned

HARIPUR, Sept 23: The district government has directed all the government departments to constitute monitoring units in line with directives from the provincial government to take measures against malpractice.

According to a circular, the district government has proposed three to five-member monitoring units.

The units would keep vigil on the functioning and duties of employees and coordinate with the anti-corruption department for action if they detect any corruption or malpractice.
