KARACHI: Karachi’s Jinnah Government College continued to stamp their authority in the ongoing edition of the Red Bull Campus Cricket when they outclassed Superior College by 82 runs here on Tuesday.

Hamza Ghanchi’s splendid 75-run knock and Amit Ravi’s quick-fire 56 helped Jinnah Government College reach an imposing 219-4 in their allotted 20 overs at the Moin Khan Academy.

Saeed Mutahir and Farooq Hasan claimed three wickets each as Superior College were bundled out for 137 in 16.2 overs.

In another match at the same venue, Government Degree College Hyderabad overran Sir Syed University by six wickets.

Babar Khan and Asif Mehmood grabbed three wickets apiece as Government Degree College dismissed Sir Syed University for 123 in 19.3 overs. Asif Mehmood’s 57 then helped them over the line as they chased down the target in a mere 14.3 overs.

In another match played at the Ali Garh Cricket Club Ground Lahore, University of Central Punjab thrashed Government Post­graduate College Faisalabad by 116 runs.
