I’ve been reading Young World for about three years now. The magazine is a complete package and it has about everything we need to know. I would like to suggest to the YW team to introduce a new section about biography and also increase the number of pages. I’m sure all the readers will be really happy with these changes.

Accidental discoveries

THIS is regarding the cover story “Accidental discoveries” compiled by Benazir Raz (YW, May 16, 2015). It was a way very interesting article. I really appreciate the idea and the compilation. The information about all the discoveries in the article surprised me as I had no idea how they were discovered.

My favourites were parts were about chocolate-chip cookies and ice-cream cones which really made me wonder if they were not discovered then we would have lacked some very special treats from our lives.

At last the toys spoke!

THIS is with reference to the story “At last the toys spoke!” by Rabia Yousuf (YW, May 9, 2015). The story was very nice. In fact, it was a true depiction of most homes where kids throw tantrums to get toys and after getting them they don’t care about them at all, sometimes they break it or sometimes leave them under huge piles of other toys.

Children these days have a great variety of things and they have become careless about their possessions. Parents should tell their children to love and respect their belongings as everything costs money and if they don’t want something, instead of throwing it away they should give them to needy or poor kids. This way kids who can’t afford to buy things can also get to enjoy them.

I really appreciate the efforts of the writer in creating awareness of such an important issue by writing such a wonderful story.

We are responsible

THIS is with reference to the cover story “We are responsible” by Saira Owais Adil (YW, May 2, 2015). It was a good reminder to all of us that people who work at our houses to earn money also deserve respect and love. We should be thankful to God for giving us everything in abundance and we should share it with those who don’t have it or are underprivileged.

Exam tips you can’t do without

THIS is with reference to the article “Exam tips you can’t do without” by Wajeeha Rehan (YW, April 25, 2015). This was a very nice article. At least half the kids get stressed learning for exams, some don’t even spare time for eating and drinking, and they study day and night.

I too took too much tension during my exams. However, I am now influenced by this article and promised myself to follow the tips given in the article and I hope I will be stress free.

Hats off to the writer for writing such a wonderful article.

Sister, my sister!

THIS is with reference to the story “Sister, my sister!” by Tayyab Anwer (YW, May 16, 2015). The story was very close to reality and it touched my heart and, most importantly, it gave a great message of forgiveness and love among siblings to all its readers.
